Maison Gabriel Paris

Ripley blazer : navy blue basketweave wool

The basket weave of the fabric gives a square braiding effect. It is also called Panama weave for its similarity to the braiding of the iconic hat.

The blazer dates back to the 19th century in England, worn by Cambridge academics. Each jacket, by its pattern or colour, defined membership in a nautical club.

Today, the distinctive sign of this jacket can also come from the button emblem.

This blazer, fluid and warm, goes well with all your pieces : an absolute wardrobe staple.
